MEMBERSHIP

Upsilon Phi Delta (UPD) is an honor society for Healthcare Administration students and alumni.  UPD welcomes all students to join and complete the requirements set forth by the chapter and the national office.  If you are an individual who goes above and beyond the standard curriculum, who seeks recognition for your hard work, UPD is a place for you.  

 

There are two types of membership in UPD:

 

  1. Per Semester membership: $15

  2. Lifetime membership: $45 (Seniors/2nd year Graduate students only)

 

To qualify for admission into UPD, students must meet the following requirements: 

 

  1. Declare Healthcare Administration as their major

  2. Complete at least 2 semesters or 2 quarters of college coursework

  3. Obtain the minimum GPA requirement of 3.25 for undergraduates or 3.50 for graduates 

 

To start the pledging process, Students must:

 

 

To become an inductee to the UPD Honor Society, pledge members must:

 

  • Attend a minimum of 1 UPD Speaker Series

  • Attend a minimum of 2 UPD Professional Development Workshops

 

*After your completion of requirements, UPD will award you by invitation-only to join the ranks of an Inducted Member.   Inducted members are permanently recognized by the chapter and national office. You also have the option to purchase Lifetime and Gruaduation Membership package.
